Tyre sizes are printed on the side of most tyres and normally are shown as three sets of numbers which identify the TYRE WIDTH (in mm) PROFILE (as a %) and finally the TYRE DIAMETER (in inches) - for example 225 / 70 R16 would be a tyre which had a width of 225mm, a 70% profile and a wheel diameter of 16 inches
